Privacy — mpp-open
Last updated 10 October 2026.
Your files never leave your device
The project files you open are read and laid out by code running in your browser. They are not uploaded — not to us, not to anyone — and nothing read from them is sent: not their content, their names, their size, their tasks, or a fingerprint of them.
Every page that opens a file has a Content-Security-Policy that allows it to send requests only to this site, so it could not send a file elsewhere even by mistake, and every request it does make is listed below.
One page opens no file: the waitlist page, https://mpp-open.vercel.app/export-waitlist. Its policy also allows our waitlist service, https://agentwares-agentguard.vercel.app/api/waitlist, and the confirmation page that service answers with, so that an email address you choose to leave there can reach it.
Who holds what little there is
It is held by TrainedBooks, an independent software business in California, United States, which operates the agentwares products. Questions and deletions: https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact.
It is stored in the United States. If you are in the EEA or the UK, that is a transfer outside your region, and using the site is you asking us to provide it from there.
What it counts
These counts, and nothing else, record how the site is used. Each goes to this site's own collector and identifies nobody — no cookie, no fingerprint, no network address:
- A page view for each page you open: this site's host, the page's path (never its query string), the host of the page that linked you here if there was one, and two yes-or-no flags — whether the browser looks like a crawler and whether it is one of our own scripts. The browser's user-agent is read to set those flags and then discarded.
- mpp_file_opened: one row per file opened, holding one word naming the file's format and one for the result (such as mpp14_opened or mpp9_password), and whether the caller was one of our own scripts — never the file, its name, its size, its tasks or a fingerprint of it.
The optional waitlist email
If you leave an email address on a waitlist for something not built yet: we send one confirmation email and store the address only if you follow its link. Until then, and for no more than 24 hours, we keep one-way hashes, made with a secret key, of the address and of your network address, only to limit how many confirmations one address or one sender can be sent. When you confirm, we keep the address, which waitlist it is for, when you confirmed and the sentence you agreed to, and use it once: the one email you asked for, when that thing exists, and nothing else. The address is never shown anywhere, never added to our analytics and never shared, except with Resend, which delivers the emails. It is deleted once that email is sent, after 12 months if the thing is never built, or as soon as you follow the removal link in the confirmation email.
What your browser keeps
Nothing. It sets no cookie, keeps nothing in your browser's storage, and does not follow you to other sites. Close the tab and the files you opened are gone from the page.
Who else touches it
- Vercel, which hosts the site and our waitlist service in the United States. Vercel keeps its own log of each request — its path and query string, the requesting network address and the user-agent — for one day on our plan, and we read it only to fix faults.
- Neon, which holds the counted rows and confirmed waitlist addresses, in the United States.
- Resend, which delivers the waitlist emails you ask for.
How long we keep it
- Counted rows identify nobody, so they are kept without an expiry date, as the running tally of how the site is used.
- Waitlist addresses: until the one email is sent, 12 months, or the removal link, whichever comes first.
- Vercel's request log: one day.
If you write to us through the contact form, that message is covered by the privacy note at https://agentwares.vercel.app/privacy.
What we do not do
We do not receive your files, sell data, set cookies, build profiles, or use anything you send to train models.
Your rights
Ask and you get a copy of anything we hold about you, a correction, or its deletion — whether or not the law where you live requires it of us. Ask at https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact. We aim to answer within 30 days.
